Kids Kingdom welcomes parents and nursery teachers to our site aimed at the most important people in a child's life.

This is a place where we expect parents to know a bit more about the wonderful the art and science of bringing up children. It will be a place to share and solve their anxieties and to celebrate their own discoveries of childhood. They will learn that there is so much common in all children yet they are so individually different.

Nursery teachers will come to this site to enhance their professional skills and find a "water hole" to meet other professionals involved in child-care. With more of them meeting each other and sharing thoughts and views, we hope that the site develops into a lively place for not just academically but also professional developments. The social benefits of networking, job hunting and life and career analysis will add on, we are sure.

The site will feature interviews and opinions of professionals as well as regular people. We will comment on things happening in this sector the world over not just India, though the focus will be how things apply to us in India. We will feature surveys of attitude and views of parents and professionals on matters related to childcare. Most of the resources that we have collated will suit both parents and nursery teachers. We don't think any material can be so easily classified as “suitable only for parents” or “suitable only nursery-teachers”. The reason for making two parts in this site is because the focus is slightly shifted when we are addressing parents versus nursery teachers. Whilst on both sides of the site the chief focus is to look well after our children and make them healthy and happy, we can see that the order of details that you may want us to present things in a change depending on whether you are a parent or a nursery teacher. Hence the two distinct sections, though a quite a bit of the content in either sections is shared. Please feel free to ask us questions and feel free to express your opinions whether you think others will like them or not. So far as you are not too crude, we are fine. Even rude does not bother us too much!

We are keen that the site becomes and remains interactive so please start writing!
